Again Black Friday deals on TVs is disappointing. Most of the prices are prices that we see on sale which is not as good to wait in long cold winter nights in line for these. I need a TV upgrade this holidays from 5-year old 51” SONY HDTV Rear Projection TV to LCD HDTV this year.

These are some of my demanding requirements for my new TV :

Built-In HD Tuner / QAM Tuner : I need this so to get HD channels without cable box, and a QAM Tuners to get scrambled HD Channels.

HDMI Inputs: I missed Toshiba HD-DVD deal but the future is HD DVD players. With PS3′s, XBox, HD DVD & BluRay, Series 3 Tivos, and HD Cable boxes using HDMI outputs.

Sharp and Samsungs are great but expensive TVs.Samsung is #1 sold TV in US.
Vizios and Olevia are 2 highly rated bargain brands.
Vizio is also top selling flat panel HDTV brand in America more than Sony and Sharp

As for warranty if you use a major credit card it doubles the manufacturers warranty.

With all this research the best TV deal so far I can see is 46″ Sharp Aquos 1080p LCD HDTV for 1299$ from Circuit city.{With coupon stackings like 100$ of 299$ ..the price may come down to 1200$}
