Monica Seles, the youngest-ever champion at French open in 1990 at age of 16 announced her retirement from 20 long years tennis career.
After 1993 stabbing incident from a Steffi Graf German Fan in the tennis court, her career came to brief halt in ’93. Here is Youtube video of stabbing incident.
