Another airline ATA followed Aloha footsteps. ATA Airlines announced that they’ve filed for bankruptcy on April’02’2008 and looks like their all flights have been canceled. If you had booked tickets with them it is good you call early and get the refunds. Read the bankruptcy details at ATA.com.
It is bad for airline travelers who have already made summer bookings in all these airlines. Southwest purchasing ATA and snatching their meals and snacks in flight and economy plane might be the reason for bankruptcy. Also many of SW flights are grounded for safety inspections.
