For 17-day sporting event, NBC is spending $894 million to get exclusive broadcasting rights to the Beijing 2008 Olympic games. The timngs are a big concern for US viewers as most games start at night and continue to the early mornings.
MSNBC (Soccer & Basketball) , CNBC (Boxing, Softball) , USA (Basketball, Soccer, Baseball Gold medal game) are the channels where these games can be watched if you live in US. Comcast, Direct TV and Dish Network channel line up is required for their respective channel numbers.

In the UK, the BBC bought the TV rights to telecast 2008 Olympics.
BBC ONE and BBC TWO will bring you 300 hours of extensive coverage from the Games.
We will be broadcasting from approximately 0200 to 1800 BST each day (some events such as the equestrian start earlier than 0200) and we will screen live coverage of the day’s best sport.
