Holiday season impacts productivity of employees as many shoppers do online holiday shopping in the office. Cyber Monday 2008 kicks off that tradition with many employees doing online shopping to grab the best deals they can. Here are some of interesting stats from a survey conducted by “CareerBuilder.com”.

> Half of Employers monitors employees online activities – Watch out and read the employer policies to stay out of trouble. Lunch or break times are preferred.
> In the office workers spend 43% – 1 or more hours, 23% – 2 or more hours, 13% – 3 or more hours
> On a work week day, 35% of employees logs on to social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook or other social networking page.
