India Commerce Minister H1-B Rejection Rates Have Gone Up

At CEO forums which is good lobbying forum for immigrants, India’s commerce and industry minister Anand Sharma quoted saying H1-B rejection rates have gone up.

“Uptake of H1B visas this year has been less than half of annual prescribed limit and the rejection rates have gone up.”

Would there be any impact to H1-B rejections or approval rates by raising these concerns at CEO forum ? Definitely Yes. The CEO forum comprises of top company CEOs from both US and India. From Indian government side, investing in India is simplified with cutting all lengthy policies into a single document as post refers. The forum discussions may help understand the bureaucracy and governmental regulations/policies impact on businesses specially in touch economic times like now.
