StoreVeterans Day 2011 Store Discount Details
Home Depot- 10 percent discount, up to a $500 maximum, at our U.S. stores to all active duty military personnel, reservists, retired or disabled veterans and their immediate families.
-Customers requesting the discount should present a valid military ID.
LowesAvail Lowes exclusive 10% military discount that is available to all Veterans on Veterans Day 2011 weekend.
"We honor all Veterans on three specific holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July and Veterans Day. During these three holiday weekends, we extend the discount to all veterans who served honorably and who present a valid Form DD214 or other proof of service. The Lowe’s Military Discount is extended to the Veteran community on these three holidays only"
SamsClubNote no Samsclub membership required. "In collaboration with AMG Medical, 36,000 free folding canes will be distributed to Veterans in need of mobility assistance. “Hugo Salutes Our Veterans” will distribute Hugo Folding Canes (retail value: $29.99) at all U.S. Sam’s Club locations from Nov. 9 through Veterans Day, Nov. 11."

CabelasCabelas is extending its employee exclusive discounts to the Veterans on Veterans day. Its not clear of how much dsicounts for individual items are.
You can expect following discounts :
"Offers their employee discount to all veterans, active-duty military and reserves, law enforcement, fire and EMS personnel November 11-12. Discounts vary from 5% to 50%, depending on the item."

From Cabela forums the other employee discount details.
"Much depends on the item you are purchasing. I used that same discount and found I recieved 20% off on smokeless powder, 10% on primers, 30% off on Cabela's branded clothing, 10% on one piece of clothing not labeled Cabela's and same for snowshoes, 15% on scope caps, and 10% on guns, new or used. Sale priced items do not get a discount so one may be better off with the sale price rather than the employee discount as that is taken from the regular price.
I ended up buying powder, primers, and scope caps usingthe discount but passed on a gun as that was the same "best price" they quoted me the last time I was in. I'll wait until the next $100 or $150 off purchase promotion before I see about the gun again. Then the best price with discount would be in keeping with the value of the gun."
DollarGeneral10% both in-store and online. No Coupon required for in-store discounts. For online 10 percent off their purchase Nov. 11 through Nov. 13 using the code VETERANSDAY at checkout.
Sport Clip Haircuts"Sport Clips honors our Veterans with special pricing. Just show VFW membership card or Military ID to receive your discount." - Rumor is that free haircut but confirm the discount by calling the place.
